Privacy Policy

Last updated September 12, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains what information Kairos uses to power product previews, checkout automation, saved settings, previous order views, and shopping personalization.

Information you provide

Kairos may store the checkout details you choose to save, including contact information, delivery address, billing address, selected browser mode, and payment method details needed for checkout forms.

We also process prompts, product requests, URLs, store names, and any edits you make to settings so the app can understand what you want to buy and where you want to buy it.

Checkout sessions

When you start a checkout, Kairos may create a browser session and collect session information such as visited URLs, page titles, visible checkout steps, Kairos actions, status logs, error messages, screenshots, stream frames, and the final state of the run.

This information is used to show live progress, preserve previous orders, recover from failures, debug checkout issues, and let you revisit or rerun a checkout.

Product previews and metadata

To show link previews and order cards, Kairos may fetch public metadata from store pages, including product title, canonical URL, Open Graph images, product images, favicons, and other page tags.

For performance, these preview results may be cached so the same product image, title, and URL can be shown later without repeatedly fetching the same page.

How information is used

Kairos uses your information to operate the app, fill checkout forms you ask it to fill, maintain your saved settings, show previous orders, diagnose failed runs, improve reliability, and keep the browser preview in sync with the active checkout.

Kairos may send relevant checkout instructions and page context to automation services that power Kairos. Those services should only receive the information needed to complete the checkout task you started.

Safari shopping personalization

Safari shopping personalization is off by default. Collection starts only after you turn on Personalized recommendations in Settings → Personalization while signed in. Kairos stores the version and time of that consent on this device. Earlier saved preferences do not enable collection automatically, and switching accounts requires a new opt-in.

After you opt in, this feature observes recognized shopping pages on websites you permit in Safari, including when the Kairos checkout popup is absent and when you do not buy through Kairos. It can derive store, category, product, brand, price range, repeat-visit, active-engagement, cart-page, checkout-page and explicitly confirmed order-product signals. A cart or checkout visit is not treated as a completed purchase. Order-product signals require structured confirmation from the merchant. An order reference is hashed locally to avoid counting repeat visits to the same order as new purchases.

The feature is designed to personalize Kairos recommendations, not for marketing or advertising. Personalization observations and derived preferences stay in the app's shared storage on this device and are not uploaded, sold, sent to third-party AI, or shared with advertisers. This storage is excluded from device backups.

The collector uses bounded daily observations and does not retain full pages, arbitrary search queries, precise browsing timestamps, payment fields, CVV, passwords, contact details, cookies or session tokens for personalization. Private browsing and recognized sensitive shopping contexts are excluded. It does not read your complete Safari history.

Daily shopping observations are retained for up to 90 days, with a maximum of 5,000 records. Older interests lose weight. Expired records are removed when the personalization store is next accessed. Switching accounts or signing out clears the local personalization dataset.

You can turn off Personalized recommendations in Settings → Personalization to stop collection and clear its stored observations and derived profile. Clear personalization data deletes the same data without changing your preference. These controls do not remove saved items, follows or order records and do not disable Safari checkout. Safari website permissions remain separately controlled in Safari settings.

Your controls

You can update saved contact, delivery, billing, payment, and browser settings in the app. You can cancel active runs and log out from settings.

If you log out, local app state may be cleared from the device, but third party stores may still retain information you submitted to them during checkout according to their own policies.

Third party services

Checkout happens on third party websites. Those stores, payment processors, shipping providers, analytics tools, and login providers may collect information directly from you or from the browser session under their own privacy policies.

Kairos does not control how third party stores use information submitted to them during checkout.
